At 10times, we consider private events as those which are B2B and invite-only events.
They will not be published on 10times page, unless you opt for that option.
Dashboard allows you to add private events so that only the people who are in your invitation list can access the event and connect with you.
Steps to add private event via Dashboard
Step 1: If you are new user and listing your event for the first time then you first need to create your profile. Preferably, use your business email id. In case, you do not have one, then proceed by ticking the checkbox "I do not have a business email id".
You would instantly receive a verification email to reset your password. Kindly verify and proceed.
Step 2: Once you are logged in to Organizer dashboard, click on blue icon "Add Event".
Select "Create Private Event", and click on "Get Started".
Step 3: Select the type of event and click on "Proceed"
Step 4: Fill in the required details and the mandatory fields about your event.
Place cursor on the highlighted icon to know what can/ cannot be included in that respective field. :
Avoid adding numbers, edition, date, year, special characters and also words like - Bazaar, Sale, Holiday, Market, Tour etc. in the Event name.
Avoid using contact number, email id and website links in description. Also make sure the description is at least of 250 characters.
Your event strength (enrich event content) should be at least 60% to qualify for submission & approval.
Step 5: Once the event Overview page is completed, click on Submit. It will be saved as private in your Dashboard.
Do not enable the button "Public" otherwise it would be listed on 10times platform. And this action is irreversible.
However, if you want to publish on 10times in future, you can turn on this option. Event will be saved in drafts. Refer to the steps here to publish on the platform.
How to add contacts to your private event
To add the required invitees, you will need to launch an event mobile application. It will have a unique access code which you can share with your invitees to access and download the app. You can connect with them via this event app.
